Utilities Manager

The City of Kent, Ohio seeks a candidate with advanced interpersonal leadership & communication skills to serve as the Utilities Manager. This full time position is responsible for the overall operation of the City’s utility infrastructure. Qualified applicants must be knowledgeable in the construction and management of water distribution systems, sanitary sewer collection, and storm sewer collection systems. Experience with municipal utilities in a supervisory role is preferred.

Must possess Ohio EPA Class II Water Distribution, Class II Sanitary Sewer Collection System license, and OTCO Backflow Certification at minimum. Possession of a valid Ohio Class “A” Commercial Driver’s License.  Must have and maintain a good driving record.
