Plant Maintenance Mechanic

The Division of Water Reclamation is seeking qualified candidates for Plant Maintenance Mechanic positions at our Southerly Water Reclamation plant. This position is responsible for installing, maintaining, repairing and removing industrial mechanical equipment at the water reclamation plant and its associated pump stations.

To be considered for this position, candidates must have completed the twelfth grade and have two (2) years of experience assisting in the installation, maintenance, repair, and/or removal of industrial mechanical equipment. Substitution(s): A certificate of high school equivalence (GED) will be accepted in lieu of the twelfth school grade completion. Possession of a valid driver’s license. Starting salary is $29.24/hour with the potential to reach $46.38/hour.
